In 2003, Fred called us all up to say he was putting the band back together! 25 years had passed since the release of "Stained Glass Stories". In one way or another reuniting was on all our minds...it was time. The internet, the technologies, the release of progressive music from current and past sources indicated it. We met in Fred's rehearsal space, bringing with us an assortment of new and old equipment. We faced the task of coming up with music that was true to the original values of Progressive Rock, grounded in history but not limited by it. In nearly four years we wrote hours of music. New ideas grew out of old ideas. A year ago we entered the recording studio. In the tremendously challenging process that followed, we lost our guitarist, Rudy Perrone. The addition of a new member would inevitably alter a 31 year chemistry of the band. Miraculously, with David Doig's perspectives, influences, and enormous musical knowledge in place, our continuity remained unbroken.
